When you activate the application it will download the corresponding content for you to see and hear, as well as the details of your hotel. The details of your hotel will be used to see your hotel in the map, help you navigate to your hotel wherever you are (and therefore eliminate the chance of getting lost) and at last call your hotel in a click of a button (the calling application will open with the hotel's number already typed and you will just press the call button to call your hotel). During the evaluation time a trial hotel will be used in order for you to evaluate the full capabilities of the application.

Use this application to add your preferred places to visit to the corresponding list of places. See a picture of the place by clicking on the thumbnail, the position of each place in the map and read and hear useful information for each of the selected places you have added (or not) in your list. When you are done selecting your places to visit, it's time for the real play to begin. A bunch of innovative solutions used in this application make it the suitable companion for the Athens visitor. By the time you have finished selecting your selected places to visit, it is time to use the artificial intelligence provided as a service (completely free of charge) in this application to group your selected places to visit in any amount of days your visit lasts (which you select from a dropdown list). The places are groupped automatically and if the result is not satisfying enough for you, then just press again the [Group] button and the application will perform another attemp to group your places automatically. If the result looks more or less satisfying to you then you can manipulate it and change it manually moving a selected place to visit from one day to another according to your decision. When you are done or tired groupping automatically or manually your places you can save your work and continue it if you want later. If you are completely satisfied with the result then it's time to use the second option of the innovative solutions this application has to offer. Use advanced algorythms to calculate the shortest path per day. That is the shortest distance you have to travel, to start from your hotel, visit all the places you have groupped in each day and return to your hotel. The sequence of the places to visit for this shortest distance is unique and will be calculated by an outside service provided for this application (completely free of charge) by generating several generations of calculations. This is a very long time consuming procedure and cannot be canceled once it has started. Please use it wisely when you are done selecting and groupping your places to visit.

Finishing this step you are able to simulate the tour you have generated for each day. In each place you are, you will see two displayed places in the screen. These are: the current place where you are in this moment and the next place in the calculated sequence. You have the option to hear, see pictures and read info for the current place you are and navigate to the next place by selecting the corresponding button. When you are here in Athens then your option must be [Start Tour] which will show you the exact same screen but automatically select the current place according to your coordinates in the map and welcome you in it giving you the option to hear, see pictures and read relative info for it.

If you are completely satisfied with the places you have selected, have groupped them and have calculated the shortest path per day and the corresponding sequence of visiting them, then you can send your calculations to all the devices that were activated with the same activation code. Just go to [Scheduling] and select the cloud icon and upload to the cloud your calculations. On the other device select the cloud icon and then select download from the cloud. Select the nickname of the device that uploaded the calculations and your device will be synced to this device.

All the navigations in our application are done in the internal Google Maps application for the Android version but for the iPhone/iPad verion you can select between the internal Apple Maps application or Google Maps. Our application in order to increase the speed of processing during the calculations (groupping and shortest path calculation) uses distributed processing to a number of outside servers and thus requires internet connection. This technology is called HDP (Hybrid Distributed Processing) and a patent application has been filled for this with status pending. The amount of data exchanged bettween our application and the servers are a few kilobytes (kb) (less than 5) for each way of data exchange (the application sends once - and receives once every time it connects). The exact length of the amount of data excanged is depending on the amount of your selected places { for your reference less than 5kb for an amount of 15 selected places -  in order to have an estimate of how small amount of data is 5kb note that 1024kb (kilobytes) = 1Mb (megabyte) & 1024Mb (megabytes) = 1Gb (gigabyte) } . You don't have to worry for such a small amount of data as today most of us use the wifi (no charge) or have a number of gigabytes in our mobile connection. Please note that this exchange of data only occurs during the calculations. During your touring no data is exhanged with dhqi servers. Please also note that if you come in Athens from one of the European Union countries there are not extra costs for using your mobile data connection (the roaming of mobile data connection was cancelled in May 2018). On the other hand if you come from one of non European Union countries then you should consider buying a Global Internet Connectivity WiFi solution (which will be handy for all your family's connection needs on the road).

You can evaluate the application for absolutely free with full functionality but with limited choices (only 3 types of Points Of Interest/places to visit are available during the evaluation period). Note: If you don't hear one language of the available languages then go to Settings => Language & Input => Text To Speech => Google Text to Speech engine settings and install the data of the corresponding language from this menu. You may also have to uninstall the language packet data and install it again if there has been an upgrade in the language data.

In order to activate it you will have to select the number of activations you will need. The number of activations you will need are defined in the biginning and cannot be changed afterwards so be cautious with the choice you make. Once you have decided that the application fits your needs and you want to acquire the full version of the application you can return to the first screen of the application and click on the 'Shop' button in order to initiate the acquisition of the full version of the application. Once you do that the corresponding screen with the Store's In app purchases will appear and there you can acquire the full version for the number of activations you have chosen (the credit card details will be needed by the related store). Due to the store's commission and currency fluctuations the value of each license will be corresponding to the number of activations you have chosen multiplied by €8,60+local VAT (the exact price is defined by the store according to the country of acquisition).

Once you have activated the application, no matter from which store, you have to start again the application in the other phones/tablets (no matter if they are Android/iPhone/iPad) that were activated with the same activation code (after you have fully closed it in them) and the application will update itsself automatically to the full version.

Please note the following:

1) If the hotel you will stay is not one of the cooperating hotels then you must select as your hotel the one with the name "NTH I" or "NTH II" and then once the application is activated go to "Hotel" from the main selections, click on the hotel update button in the upper right corner and select there your hotel. 

2) If you ever come to Athens, Greece again you can use your application for ever with free updates to the newer versions of content. Once you decide to come to Athens again then go to "Hotel" from the main selections, click on the hotel update button in the upper right corner and select there your new hotel during your next visit in the city. Please note that you can change hotel only twice every 30 days (you can change it twice and then you will be able to change it again 30 days after the last change).

3) For safety reasons the license you acquire is renewed every 15 days. If you use the application from the phone you have acquired the license for the activations you have chosen, this is done automatically. If you use though the application from one of the other phones/tablets that were activated with the same activation code, you will be asked to acquire the license or close the application and open it from the phone you have acquired the application from. If you have indeed acquired the application then close the application in this phone and open it in the phone you have acquired the license and the application will renew the license immetdietely (for iPhone/iPad you may have to login to AppStore). If you have taken a refund for your purchase after you have acquired the application you will no longer be able to use it. If though you have not acquired the license for the activations you have chosen it then you will have to do so.

Dear customers, we strongly recommend that you acquire your full version of the application through the corresponding store's In App Purchases. If though - and ONLY then - you are not very familiar with purchases with your mobile and you are afraid for security reasons to enter your credit card in your mobile then there are two more options for you to acquire the application:
